Dr. Jim LeFan is a licensed psychologist, with a private practice based in Austin, Texas, where he lives with his wife and children.
He specializes in therapy for children, teens, adults, families, and couples, and in empowering women to make healthy decisions promoting their strength and independence. Tailored to the needs of each client, his practice utilizes aspects of established methodologies derived from Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Jungian philosophy, as well as modern styles found in the practice of mindfulness, vulnerability, and emotional authenticity.
Dr. LeFan holds four degrees in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned a Ph.D. with a specialization in Social, Developmental & Personality Psychology, has two Masters Degrees, one in Social Psychology and one in Program Evaluation, and a Bachelor Degree in General Psychology.
